Nonsense is a cover band from Orange Country, California. For over eight years, the band has specialized in dance oriented music served up in a light-hearted tongue-n-cheek manner that has become the band’s hallmark. Nonsense regularly plays throughout the greater Southern California area (Orange Country, Los Angles, Riverside, and San Diego). Now the classic lineup is back in full force delivering its brand of good times.
No matter if it’s a nightclub, wedding, party, corporate event, Nonsense has the repertoire to compliment the occasion. Our song list spans nearly sixty years: 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, and today’s hits. So if it is Disco, Funk, or good old Rock and Roll, Nonsense has the music to get them up and on the floor. The band also features a great set of slower songs that’s appropriate for a dinner audience. |

Lead Vocals
We welcome Catherine, a classy singer with style, grace and beauty who brings a free spirit to the stage. "Your Greatness is revealed not by the lights that shine upon you, but by the light that shines within you." Ray Davis.
As a newcomer to the band you will be pleased with her "impressive" sound.

Frank Schulz
Guitar / Backing Vocals
Frank is the guitarist and arguably the best kept secret in the band. Despite his relatively low profile Frank is a perfectionist who will not quit (sometimes to the chagrin of his band mates), until each song sounds just right. He is the glue that holds the entire band together and his technical expertise is directly responsible for the bands perfectly mixed sound.
Helpful hint: Don’t ask him to play Mony Mony. |

Brett Hutchison
Drums / Vocals
Brett plays the drums and he sings. He is for the most part, the organizational and motivating force behind the band. Armed with a versatile singing voice and excellent timing on the drums, Brett is an indispensable piece of the Nonsense puzzle. He is to Nonsense what Moe was to the Three Stooges. Without warning, he has been known to break into a Barry Manilow song, confirming his thinly disguised desire to someday become a Las Vegas lounge singer.

Gene Richau
Bass / Vocals
Although his age is nearly that of the rest of the band combined, Gene brings an irreverent sense of mischief and a lighthearted attitude to the band. An unreconstructed punk rocker, Gene’s steady no frills bass playing leaves the rest of the band wondering how something so rudimentary could sound so good.
Helpful Hint: If he asks you if you want to hear a joke…say no. |

Terri Lepire
Lead Vocals
With a sweet smile and a song in her heart she is the voice and conscience of Nonsense. In addition to making the entire band a little easier on the audiences’ eyes, Terry (despite her young age), brings a dose of much needed maturity to the band. Be it Top 40, 80’s rock, 70’s disco or old school soul, Terry rises to the occasion and approaches every song with the heart of a true entertainer.
Helpful hint: Bring her a cup of hot tea and you’ll have a friend forever. |
